About Our Grocery Store & Market
We're your neighbors- a little family raising the bar on our local retail & food offerings.
The Sugar Shark Market is named after our 14-year-old bud and family corgi, Parker 'the Sugar Shark.' He embodies what we want this market to be for all of you- a place to rely on, that supports your needs and does so with a little funk and lot of soul.
The aim of our market is to offer the things you need right when you need them, whether at dinner time, as you head out on the water, or to cool down on a hot day.
...and to do so with utter joy and whimsy.

Who are we?

YUM.

Amber Essential Oils
Perfumer Amber Viles
Amber Essential Oils was born from the bright soul of perfume industry expert Amber Viles. Beginning in 2015, Amber branched out under her own label to create locally crafted, clean and healthy essential oil blends. Her line intentionally decreases the amount of harmful chemicals and toxins absorbed into your skin. Today her memorable blends allow you to capture the beautiful, alive, adventurous story of the Keys through your most powerful sense-- scent.
Glimmer Glass Artworks
Artist Gail Grambling Harrison
An artist across multiple mediums, today Gail Grambling Harrison creates fused glass art pieces from her home in Key West, Florida. Gail reflects the Key West she has known for decades alongside today’s local inhabitants—from roosters to conch to coral to bungalows—to bring glimmers of surprise, whimsy, wonder and joy into the world. Her Distinctive pieces reflect local scenery, Key West’s bright style and the Keys’ stunning flora and fauna.
TJC Pottery
Artist Tammie Corley
Since childhood, Tammie Corley of TJC Pottery has created with her hands. Today, Tammie’s works are lovingly crafted in a pottery studio beneath the artist’s porch on Cudjoe Key. Tammie draws inspiration for her unique, handmade, expressive pieces from moments spent experiencing the local ecosystem. Each work is captured to reflect the plants, animals and varied, local textures. The colors of the ocean surrounding the Keys influence her selection of finishing glazes and continue to inspire her creative take on the Keys in ceramic form.
Drifting Through
Artist Trista Travis
Trista creates art that carries the rhythms of the sea and the spirit of the shoreline. Living in the Florida Keys, she collects driftwood, shells, and other treasures left behind by the tide, giving them new life through fiber art and sculpture. Her work is rooted in sustainability — she uses found and recycled materials, honoring the ocean by creating without taking from it. Each one-of-a-kind piece is shaped by the ocean — its textures, colors, and rhythms. Similarly, every piece is a petite reminder of the beauty and spirit of the shoreline.
Jill Marie Pottery
Artist Jill Danek
Form meets function in Jill Marie’s handmade, gorgeous pottery. Inspired by use, by local culture, the Keys most iconic places and vibrant tropical colors, as well as by the lives of the loved ones that surround her, Jill creates functional pieces for you everyday table to make each moment special. You’ll find her in her studios in Key West or Michigan, when she isn’t refilling with her husband, adult children and their burgeoning, beautiful families in her own little spec of paradise down in the Keys.
Washed Ashore
Artist Beth Clopton
Local artist Beth Clopton’s lively family—from cockatiel Elvis to chameleon Coco Splat to Honey Dog to quails Dolly, Tricia, Garth and Brittany—and her idyllic, tranquil home base on Big Pine Key just south of the 7-mile bridge in the Florida Keys act as her muses for Washed Ashore. She began to create her works during the 2020 pandemic, when she was inspired to sprinkle happiness and positivity into the world. Among her favorite island and beach haunts she finds the sea glass, shells and objects from which she expertly creates her whimsical, joyful art.
